Egg Beans and Chips


Such an English staple

And not really a health scare
Potatoes Eggs and Beans are all good
You can skip chip making for oven chips

But making them is better for one reason
Oven chips are overloaded
With the wrong Omega 6
This is corrected by using Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • Eggs (2)
  • Potato (1 med)
  • Baked beans (1/2 can)
  • Oil (2 tbsp)
  • Celery salt (2 tsp)
  • Nutritional Yeast (1 tbsp)

Method

Get a pan of water to boiling
Chop up a med or large potato into large chips leaving the skins on
Drop into the boiling water for about 7 minutes
Place 2 tbsp of oil and 1 tsp of celery salt into a large mixing bowl
Drain and remove chips from pan and add to the mixing bowl
Swirl chips around and coat in oil and salt
Best to place the chips on greaseprooof baking paper to avoid sticking
Place in the oven at 200c for about 30 minutes
Check chips a couple of times to turn them
Place 1/2 can of baked beans in a saucepan and heat up slowly
Add 1 tbsp of nutritional yeast to the beans
Fry up two eggs in the frying pan
